ASCENT/TREP

Accelerating Students through Concurrent Enrollment (ASCENT) is a state program established by C.R.S. 22-35-108 (House Bill 09-1319) that allows eligible high school students to attend college tuition-free for one year, with Douglas County School District (DCSD) covering the tuition costs.

Teacher Recruitment Education and Preparation (TREP) is a program created by SB 21-185. The TREP program creates the opportunity for qualified students in an Educator Pathway to concurrently enroll in postsecondary courses for the two years after the 12th grade year tuition- free for two years, with Douglas County School District (DCSD) covering the tuition costs.
